Directions to Kingston Gallery
Kingston is located on the street level at 450 Harrison Ave., #43,
on the brick pedestrian walkway that was formerly Thayer St. We
invite you to visit during our regular business hours, 12–5
Wednesday through Sunday, or join us for our exhibition openings
during SoWa First Fridays.
Driving From the South via I-93 North
Take exit 18, Frontage Road, stay in right lane and go through
2 sets of lights, then bear right onto access road parallel to
the expressway. Get into the left lane and turn left on East
Berkeley Street. Go through 2 sets of lights and make a left turn on Harrison Avenue.
From the North via I-93 South
Take Exit 20 (Albany Street). Bear right, following sign to
Albany Street. (Do not bear left-you will enter the Mass Pike.)
Turn right onto East Berkeley Street. Take first left onto
Harrison Avenue. Go two short blocks to 450 Harrison Avenue.
From the West via the Mass Pike (Rt. 90)
Take the Mass Pike to the Prudential/Copley Square exit. Keep
right for Copley Square. After exiting the tunnel turn right
onto Dartmouth Street. Take Dartmouth to Tremont Street and
turn left. Proceed to Waltham Street and turn right. Take
Waltham to Harrison Avenue and turn left. Proceed to 450 Harrison Avenue.
Parking
During First Friday Openings parking is available in parking
lots at 500 Harrison Ave. and in a lot behind 450 Harrison
(entrance on Albany St., which is parallel to Harrison).
During the day, parking is usually available in these same
parking lots for free and there is 2 hour parking on the
East side of Harrison Ave.
By MBTA
There are several options for public transportation:
Take the Orange Line to Back Bay Station. Exit on the Clarendon
St. side. Turn right on Clarendon, and cross Columbus Ave.
Continue on Clarendon to Tremont St. The Boston Center for
the Arts will be on the left. Turn left onto Tremont, then right
onto Waltham St. Walk three blocks on Waltham St. to Harrison Ave.
Turn left onto Harrison.
Take the Green Line to Copley and follow the same walking
directions down Clarendon Street.
Take the Green Line to Arlington. Walk down Arlington
Street headed away from the public garden. Take a right onto
Tremont Street which will be just after the Mass Pike, then
a left onto E. Berkeley St. Turn right onto Harrison Ave.
Take the Orange Line to New England Medical Center.
From there you can take the Silver Line bus to the East Berkeley
St. stop. If you choose to walk, bear right onto Washington St.,
across the Mass Pike, make a left onto E. Berkeley, and take a
right onto Harrison Ave.
Art Bus
The Art Bus is a free shuttle running between the SoWa arts
district (corner of Thayer St. and Harrison Ave.) and Newbury St.
from 12–4 on the first Saturday of the month, September through
June. It is sponsored by the Boston Art Dealers Association.
